Q1. Is gear included with studio hire?

Yes, all photography and audio equipment is included in the hire of those spaces respectively. Gear lists can be found for the recording studio here and for the visual media studio here.

Q2. Can I park onsite?

Yes, we have plenty of parking on the street outside the studio. There is limited parking in the designated carpark of our building but depending on the time of your session this is usually not an issue. 

Q3. I have limited experience as an engineer in recording studio environments. Can I use the control room privately without an in-house engineer?

We do take unattended bookings for the control room, however, the space requires a reasonable amount of experience to operate safely - if you’re unsure of your skill level, send us a message - we’d love to hear from you and we might be able to work something out. There’s always a work around even it means someone guides you through the first hour or two.  

Q4. Can I play Mario Kart during my session?

It is not essential, but yes. We also have zelda and super smash bros.

Q5. What amenities do you have on-site?

Our spaces are fully air-conditioned and heated, with bathroom facilities, kitchenette and drinks fridge. All our mood lighting is fully programmable via the LIFX app available on the App store or Google play. 

Q6. I would love some work experience - can I apply to help out on sessions?

Of course, just send us an email and we’ll try and fit you in somewhere.

Q7. Why do you require payment upfront?

Due the modular nature of the studio, sessions require quite a bit of logistical planning to prepare for. Payment upfront allows us to plan accordingly. 

Q8. Do you offer refunds if I need to cancel my session?

If you let us know more than 48 hours prior (but please try and give us as much notice as humanly possible). In most cases we refund no questions asked.
